The Ravens prayers for Tray Walker were sponsored by Dunkin Donuts
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker is “fighting for his life” in a Miami hospital, his agent says, after suffering head injuries a motorbike crash on Thursday evening.
“It’s a bad situation,” agent Ronald Butler said, per the Baltimore Sun. “I’m going to be honest. We’re praying that he’s able to fight through it.”
The Ravens, naturally, are concerned. But you tell me: What doesn’t belong in this picture?
That tweet was up for nearly two hours on Friday morning before someone finally had the sense to take it down. The responses were appropriately horrified.
The offending photo remained in a story on the Ravens’ website, too, even after the tweet was taken down and replaced with this:
A Miami-Dade Police Department spokesman told the Sun that Walker was riding a dirtbike without headlights shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday when he collided at an intersection with a Ford Escape. The 62-year-old Escape driver — who remained at the scene — told police that she had a stop sign at the intersection, and police are working to find out who was at fault for the collision.
